Genealogy... The Youness Maalouf Family Tree
Hello Everyone! This is the Youness Maalouf or (Maloof) Family Tree,(there are several spellings to this name). This particular set, was made by Georges Maalouf and Fred Youness many years ago and some of the research was actually done in Lebanon. As you can see, this tree took a lot of time, research and work to get it to this point.
The original family, was Orthodox from Syria. This is where it gets kind of complicated. Fore over the years borders have changed through wars, etc... and the very same land that was once Syria, is now Lebanon. This has been the way of the world... if you go further back, the names of the countries will change and
actually we could even be called "Phoenicians!" The family tree dates back approximately 1500 years!
